After a competitive tender process, Bravedog was appointed to create the brand identity for Carriage Works. From the outset, the brief was clear but demanding. This was not about surface-level branding or cosmetic refresh. Carriage Works needed an identity rooted in its industrial heritage, confident enough to speak to a new generation of makers, founders and innovators, and robust enough to scale as the site evolved into one of Swindon’s most important creative destinations.
Our approach began where it always does: research, context and intent. We immersed ourselves in the site’s history, its architecture and its ambition, translating physical structure and place-based meaning into a flexible visual system. The result is a brand identity that feels engineered rather than decorated. Functional, distinctive and unapologetically purposeful. A brand designed not just to look right on day one, but to work hard over time, supporting Carriage Works as it evolves into its next chapter.

Bravedog immediately understood what Carriage Works needed to stand for. They translated our heritage, ambition and physical space into a confident brand identity that feels authentic and future-focused. The work has given us clarity, consistency and a strong presence that helps attract the right organisations and position Carriage Works as a serious creative destination in Swindon.”
